Frequently Asked Questions   Dashkit Applications: Q: Do you have to remove the factory dash to install your kit? A: No, all of our dash kits are overlays covering the existing factory part. Q: Is this something I can install myself? A: Yes, installation is very simple with few steps, the most important is to clean the dash surface to allow good adhesion. Installation times run between fifteen and thirty minutes. Q: Doesn’t the tape degrade and fail with time? A: No, we use only automotive grade 3M“ Brand red tape. When installed properly this tape will not lose adhesion to the dash surface. Q: Will this void my manufacture’s warranty? A: No, this dash does not alter any factory part, only covers it. Our kits have also been subjected to testing to insure that they will maintain color, adhesion and safety for the life of the vehicle. Q: Will I be able to take the dash overlay off? A: The part will be destroyed if you attempt to remove the overlay after it has been applied.
